Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games
We ask that all guests visiting us between the dates of 28th July – 8th August 2022 allow additional time before their arrival to us. We recommend that guests arrive 60 minutes before their first activity start time.
Across this period, additional security measures on site will increase restrictions as to what our guests are permitted to bring with them to The Bear Grylls Adventure.
We ask that guests report to the soft ticket check point outside of security screening, letting the team here know that you are visiting The Bear Grylls Adventure. You will be asked to show proof of your booking. All members of your group will be security screened accordingly. Once screened, you can walk down to The Bear Grylls Adventure.
Getting To Us
You can find The Bear Grylls Adventure at the National Exhibition Centre. It is located just off the M42 at Junction 6.
Please use postcode B40 1NT to find The Bear Grylls Adventure's car park at NEC Car Park East 5. Please park through the barriers to the right hand side of the car park. Or, using what3words, the entrance to our car park is ///letter.rapid.almost
Once parked, please follow the signposted route to the security checkpoint. This will be along the path, past Pendigo Lake, and to Resorts World. Guests must pass through security before being permitted entry to The Bear Grylls Adventure.
With additional time for this security check, please allow approximately 25 minutes to walk from the car park to The Bear Grylls Adventure.

Please validate your yellow token at the attraction to make use of this reduced car parking fee. You will receive the yellow token from the barrier upon entry to the car park. Please note that car park payment is cashless.
Please ensure that you bring your yellow token to the attraction to validate in order to ease your journey home. You will pay for your parking upon return to the car park at the pay machine.
Disabled parking spaces will be located at Car Park South 5 from 25th July - 8th August 2022.
Please follow signage for Disabled Parking, and present your booking confirmation and Blue Badge when asked.
The nearest train station to The Bear Grylls Adventure is Birmingham International. From the station, guests can follow the signposted route through The NEC, and around the back of the areas for Commonwealth Games guests only. Guests must pass through security before being permitted entry to The Bear Grylls Adventure.
With additional time for this security check, please allow approximately 20 minutes to walk from the train station to The Bear Grylls Adventure.
