Activity Restrictions And Waivers

Prepare For Your Adventure

To make sure that you're ready and able to take part in your epic experience, please ensure that you've checked our activity-specific restrictions, and that you've checked the relevant waivers.

Due to the nature of our activities, pregnant guests are not permitted to take part in any of our experiences at The Bear Grylls Adventure.

  • Shark Dive is suitable for guests aged 10+
  • A medical declaration form is required for Dive. To avoid disappointment on the day, we ask that you review this before your visit. If you mark "YES" to any of the questions in the medical declaration form, you will need to contact your doctor who will review the medical form and ensure you have the correct sign off before arrival.
  • Guests aged 10 – 17 years will need an adult present at the brief to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied
  • All guests must bring their own swimwear and a towel to this experience.
  • All dive and safety equipment provided, including up to XXXL wetsuits.
  • Glasses won't fit under the Diving mask, so they'll have to be taken off. We recommend wearing contact lenses or your own prescription diving mask
  • Due to the nature of Shark Dive, we do not allow spectators into the activity area however guests can spectate from our oceanarium window.
  • All guests will need to arrive 30 minutes before their activity start time
  • For your safety, no jewellery, mobile phones, or loose items can be worn during this activity however they can be stored away in our onsite free lockers
  • Pregnant guests are not permitted to take part in any experiences at The Bear Grylls Adventure
  • Unlimited access to our Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course

  • IFLY is suitable for guests aged 5+
  • A risk declaration form must be signed for iFLY - this activity is not suitable for guests with previous arm or shoulder dislocations – to avoid disappointment please review before you book IFLY Jump Experience – Declaration of Risk (beargryllsadventure.com)
  • Maximum weight: 18 stone (114kg).
  • Maximum height: 6ft 7 (203cm).
  • Guests aged 5 – 9 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Guests aged 10 – 17 years will need an adult present at the brief to sign waivers but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied.
  • All guests will need to arrive 30 minutes before their activity start time
  • We recommend wearing comfortable active wear you can move in. Closed toe shoes are a must. No flip flops, heels or open toed sandals will be allowed.

  • Shooting is suitable for guests aged 10+
  • Guests aged 10 – 15 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Our activity instructors cannot assume the position of guardian for participants aged 10 –15 years old.
  • Due to the nature of Shooting, we do not allow spectators into the activity area
  • Full briefing from our team before taking to the range
  • All guests will need to arrive 30 minutes before their activity start time
  • We recommend wearing comfortable active wear you can move in. Closed toe shoes are a must. No flip flops, heels or open toed sandals will be allowed.

  • Axe Throwing is suitable for guests aged 10+
  • Guests aged 10 – 15 must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Our activity instructors cannot assume the position of guardian for participants aged 10 – 15.

  • Snorkel is suitable for guests aged 8+
  • Guests aged 8-9 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Guests aged 10-17 years will need an adult present at the brief to sign waivers but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied.
  • All guests must bring their own swimwear and a towel to this experience.

  • High Ropes is suitable for guests aged 8+
  • Guests aged 8 - 9 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Height restriction: Minimum 122cm (4ft) tall, Maximum height 203cm (6ft 7) tall.
  • Weight restriction: Max weight 21.5 stone (136kg).
  • Guests aged 10 – 15 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied
  • For all activities that require a guest to wear a harness, we ask that all guests must wear full length top and mid-thigh shorts – failure to do so may mean you cannot take part in the activity.
  • All guests will need to arrive 30 minutes before their activity start time

  • Climb is suitable for guests aged 5+
  • Guests aged 5 – 9 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Height restriction: Minimum 110cm (3ft 6) tall
  • Weight restriction: Max weight: 130kg (20 stone), Min weight: 10kg (1.5 stone).
  • Guests aged 10 – 15 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied
  • For all activities that require a guest to wear a harness, we ask that all guests must wear full length top and mid-thigh shorts – failure to do so may mean you cannot take part in the activity.
  • All guests will need to arrive 30 minutes before their activity start time

  • Guests aged 8 - 9 years must be accompanied on the activity by a participating parent or guardian aged 18+ on a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children. That parent or guardian must purchase a full ticket for the activity.
  • Guests aged 10 – 15 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied
  • Due to the nature of Escape Rooms, we do not allow spectators into the activity area
  • All guests will need to arrive 30 minutes before their activity start time

  • Guests aged 10 – 15 years will need an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied
